Problem
In Nigeria, getting essential medicines is slow, fragmented, and often involves calling multiple pharmacies to find stock. This leads to delays in treatment and low trust in availability. I recognized these pain points and set out to solve them. This includes: - Inconsistent availability across pharmacies - Poor delivery coordination - Unclear prescription and dosage details - Lack of trust in drug authenticity Pharmora needed a trust-first, conversion-focused MVP to validate the core service before scaling.
Solution
To effectively address these challenges, with Pharmora we: Design a digital platform that connects customers directly to local pharmacies for fast, reliable product access from search to doorstep. Make checkout & prescription upload seamless Design pharmacist-side dashboard with request clarity
When engaged by Pharmora, the vision was to build a comprehensive healthcare delivery platform that bridges the gap between Nigerians and their local pharmacies. It was about creating a seamless, trusted ecosystem where users could access essential medications, verify availability in real time, and coordinate deliveries.
To bring this to life, I conducted in-depth research into the fragmented nature of pharmaceutical access in Nigeria. Through user interviews and competitive market analysis, I uncovered points ranging from inconsistent inventory to reliance on informal communication via WhatsApp for availability checks. These insights helped shape Pharmora into a streamlined platform designed to replace disjointed workarounds with clarity, reliability, and trust.

Pharmora’s story began with a small, determined team that shared a single vision to transform how Nigerians access essential healthcare products. They recognized a persistent gap between local pharmacies and the people who relied on them for vital medications. Across cities and towns, customers often struggled to find trusted pharmacies, verify drug authenticity, or receive timely deliveries. Determined to change that reality, the team embarked on an ambitious journey to build a unified healthcare delivery platform that would connect pharmacies directly with customers.
To bring this vision to life, the Pharmora team carried out extensive research into Nigeria’s fragmented pharmaceutical landscape. We interviewed pharmacy owners, patients, and healthcare providers to understand the challenges from stock inconsistencies and inflated prices to slow communication and limited delivery options. These insights became the foundation for Pharmora’s mission: to create a seamless, transparent ecosystem where access to healthcare products would be fast, reliable, and affordable.
During development, the team focused on building a platform that would serve both pharmacies and end users with precision. They designed a clean, intuitive interface that allowed users to browse, compare, and order medications effortlessly. Pharmora’s technology also emphasized credibility and compliance. Verified pharmacy partnerships and encrypted data handling were built into the core of the system to ensure that every order maintained the highest standards of quality and transparency.
Since its launch this year 2025, Pharmora has grown into a trusted healthcare companion for many Nigerians in Abuja, Nigeria. Patients now use the platform to find and order genuine medications with just a few taps, while pharmacies benefit from expanded reach and streamlined operations. The result is an ever-growing network that fosters collaboration between healthcare providers, drives digital adoption in the pharmaceutical sector, and empowers communities with better access to care.
Pharmora’s journey continues to evolve guided by innovation, empathy, and the belief that no one should struggle to access the medicines they need. Through its human centered design and technology first approach, Pharmora is redefining how healthcare is delivered, one verified order at a time.
